BREAKING NEWS: HELLO KITTY HALLOWEEN PLUSHES SOLD OUT LESS THAN 24 HRS OF RELEASE

These cute little Hello Kitty Halloween plushes were released on the US Sanrio website early morning September 29, 2009 and were sold out by late afternoon. Recording breaking sales!!! These plushes are not in every store so they are a rare find. They even pulled them off the site once they sold out instead of leaving them on there. Since I always check the site very early on the days they usually add new merchandise I was lucky enough to get my hands on the pumpkin plush in the middle.

HELLO KITTY'S HUMANE SOCIETY

There is nothing humane about the way some of these animals at the Human Society have gotten treated but Hello Kitty is to the rescue as she donates a portion of the proceeds from this Limited Edition Humane Society T-Shirt to the animal charity. This shirt is no longer available and was only available on the US Sanrio website.

This is one of those things that you wish you could find but does not exist except as a picture on the web. Two of my favorite characters morphed into one. Smurfette needs a bow and I need this in my collection.

There is no whining going on right now. I am a happy Hello Kitty fanatic finally finding Hello Kitty Wine in the USA. You have to be 21 remember so if your not please stop reading now. RIGHT NOW. And please don't send me whining emails. LOL.

HELLO KITTY VS MARILYN MONROE

Hello Kitty likes it hot or whatever item she can be popular collaborating with like Marilyn Monroe. Universal Studios in Japan offers an assortment of Hello Kitty items dressed up as Marilyn Monroe which brings me back to a comment I made about some items that should of been released in the USA and this would be one of them seeing that Marilyn Monroe started here. Come on usa get it right for once!

Of course girls just want to have fun. It's not much fun if you don't. Hello Kitty thinks so too as she displays herself on a t-shirt found at a Macy's store telling us that dressed up thinking she is part Sarah Jessica Parker from that 80s movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and part Cyndi Lauper singing it. Unfortunately that outfit of hers looks more like Madonna's. But it's still a great shirt. Good luck finding it.

HELLO KITTY CARES TO BE AWARE (PINK RIBBON) AGAIN!

Hello Kitty is just popping up continously so that I can not keep up with her. But I love her anyway. HELLO KITTY PAYS A VISIT TO KATEIGAHO INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE.........

5 years ago that is and it took me this long to figure this out after subscribing to the magazine for years. I love japanese culture and what the magazine is about but I was expecting a article or cover for Hello Kitty ALOT. I am so spoiled. The issue was for Hello Kitty's 30th Birthday celebration. Now I have been trying to search for this magazine with no luck and will have to put it on the list of hard to finds. It is the Spring 2004.

Hello Kitty's got lotto fever! In Taiwan that is. This is one of the rarities that I suprisingly get my hands on. A Hello Kitty Scratch Off Lottery Ticket. This is not scratched and does not have any value except collectors value and I just don't care. I wanted it! Why can't stuff like this be done in the USA? It seems like Taiwan has the best stuff and I have more where that came from but will discuss it in the future, stuff that should of been released in the USA but for whatever reason was not.

The Hello Kitty Scratch Off Lottery Ticket is currently running in Taiwan but will be difficult to get as it was sold out in most stores over there.

SANRIO HELLO KITTY CATALOG

For those of you that do not get around on the net much Sanrio Japan releases a catalog of merchandise to VIP'S only every few months. These are very hard to get but if you manage to know someone who knows someone you may be in luck. I managed to get a few from someone who had them and I did not even know them. Another point for me!

Among the thousand of celebrities and department stores that spray out tons of perfume every year Hello Kitty is no exception. A new perfume by Koto (in France) is being launched for the "Hello Kitty Woman". This is Hello Kitty's 6th perfume known on the market. Made for the 18-35 year old. So what happens in 4 years when I will be over 35?

Hello Kitty also has a baby perfume, kids perfume and a perfume by "Bath and Body Works" out there for those clamoring to add to their collection. Dreamkitty.com is currently offering the USA for the first time the baby and kids perfume.

GARBAGE PAIL KITTY AKA GOODBYE KITTY

Now as a serious Hello Kitty collector and fan I usually would not normally go for something like this but in this case resembling Garbage Pail Kids trading cards from the 80s I must say I was a lttle intrigued by this and reminding me of the Hello Kitty plushes I would get from my other half on special occasions.
Goodbye Kitty is from the Wacky Packages trading card collection from 2005 and was originally set up for distribution with Topps at the San Diego Comic Con. You can find some of this art on Ebay.

But poor Kitty. Don't ever make a plush that looks like this.

Here is some of the hard to find items the cows.ca used to carry with Hello Kitty as Hello Cowy line. These particular items are no longer sold and will not be brought back. 2 different versions of the Hello Cowy keychain and a bookmark. Can you spot the difference?

At one point they even mimicked Hello Kitty's friend Scooby Doo as Scooby Moo.

HELLO KITTY SWEETS CAFE (TAIWAN)

After searching for months and months I finally managed to get my hands on some Hello Kitty Sweets items from the cafe in Taiwan. This cafe is the Hello Kitty lovers dream specializing in food and dessert and just a little touch of Hello Kitty. Well, a lot of touch of Hello Kitty. The plush below is a Second Edition that is currently at the cafe for sale.

    

I wish I was able to go there but getting the items will have to do for now.

The plush on the right holding a coffee cup was a First Edition and is now no longer sold. Good luck finding this little girl.

Welcome to Hello Kitty Limited. A blog or my blog and information page about my favorite pasttime...  Limited Edition Hello Kitty. I also collect rare and unique Hello Kitty from around the world. Does not have to be a numbered quantity to get my attention. I am a serious collector and have mastered the art of the hard to find.

Now I am beginning to notice using the description "Limited Edition" is becoming an overused title but not when it comes to Hello Kitty. When Sanrio says limited they mean limited. Some with numbers on them and some exclusive to specific places such as Macy's or Torrid which brings up a current purchase I just made from the Grand Hi Lai Hotel in Taiwan that I have never been to, being in the USA, but found the most helpful and friendly service possible. I purchased their Hello Kitty Grand Hi Lai Doorlady Plush by email and believe I may be one of the first to have it here. Yeah for me. She is the 4th edition on a limited run since 2006 and current for this year.
