This is Hello Kitty weekend for me. With Sanrio's Anniversary Party tomorrow and Hello Kitty now appearing in a asian culture art exhibit at the Sandra Phillips Gallery in Denver. I attended the opening night reception for it called "Role Models" by Margaret Kasahara last night and it was empty and was great for me because I hate crowds and I went by myself which is a first for me and was very nervous. But like I have told myself Hello Kitty makes everything better and she really does. She is only in one painting for "Role Models" that includes three other asian characters and is being sold for $4800. This exhibit runs from May 14 -July 4, 2010.
I was not allowed to take pictures inside but no one said outside.
I tried to get more pictures but more people showed up and blocked Hello Kitty.
