I like to write one blog a day at least but I had to write this second one for today because I am furious. I have bragged before about the new Hello Kitty Wine that we were supposed to get soon online and now the website has been dismantled. Why you ask? My guess is because the constant whining and complaining that was brewing and hit the media from ignorant people and parents who thought it was being marketed to kids when in fact it's wine and where do you usually find wine? In a liquor store! And who's allowed in a liquor store? Gee probably the 21 & over crowd. Ya think? Good grief. I am so sick of these watch dog groups finding something to complain about that is completely off and ignoring the more important issues. I can get the wine someplace else I hope but that's not the point. The point is this was not a legitimate gripe and because of that it takes away others freedoms. Why don't these parents do their own parenting and not bring kids into the liquor store or let them watch the commercial or tv show. That might be a start. Stop expecting us to do your parenting. There are plenty of Hello Kitty fans over 21 and even over 30 like myself who deserve to have our own products. But hey what should I expect from a country that has decided that freedom is not free anymore. They said "Hello Kitty grows up" but they might want to redirect that to some people who need to.
(I can't be too sure on this and is just an opinion so don't quote me on it but from the look of the website now I might just be right)
REST IN PEACE! HERE IS WHAT IS NO LONGER.....
This is what the site looks like now referring you to other websites.
UPDATE: EMAILED LAST NIGHT AND GOT A QUICK RESPONSE... Thanks for checking back in.We have had to do some revamping to set up our web site sales, VIP club, a blog, and other features. There was a huge demand for on-line sales since we only have several west coast retail outlets, so we have worked to establish on-line sales through a few California "partners"; they are listed with easy access links for everyone to use at the bottom of the "place-holder" page. We're hoping to make the necessary changes and provide the information and services people are requesting. Please stay in touch, and be assured that we'll be sending out e-mail alerts with updates.
