I am so dissapointed in this news today that Hollywood Blvd and Grauman's Chinese Theater in L.A. will no longer allow the characters and mascots to roam the streets. Apparently some of the mascots got out of hand demanding money from tourists and people passing by but let me tell you when I was there meeting Hello Kitty that was not the case. I did ask to take a picture and she mentioned if you want to tip or not but not once demanded anything from me and I was very happy to donate. After all it was Hello Kitty. But Batman, Hello Kitty, Freddy Krueger and all other characters that were welcomed will not be allowed there anymore. What is wrong with cities and govt? This is a piece of americana and pop culture and they decide since they're not making money neither will they. What next they will shut down the stores and vendors on the streets? I want a protest for this and I don't even live there.
Impeding the flow of Traffic? The only people impeding traffic are the rude tourists who wouldn't say excuse me if their life depended on it.

Here are some of the pics I took on Hollywood Blvd and Grauman's. It was alot of fun and I didn't know that characters were going to be there but it added alot more fun to my experience. I love Hello Kitty and I have this same costume but no this is not me.
I don't live in L.A but I am sure going to miss these guys!
