HELLO KITTY IN TILE

When I said Hello Kitty was almost everywhere that didn't include being in my bathroom tiles at the time but just my luck she is as I have recently noticed. Can you spot her? My obsession for kitty has apparently engraved itself in my home! Money can't buy this!!!

This is one Hello Kitty item that I do not need but may want just for the heck of it. Diaper cakes are in for babies and baby showers and of course Hello Kitty had to jump on that bandwagon or carriage. Too bad it's not made of Depends because sooner or later those will come in handy for me. :D

HELLO KITTY VISITS THE ZOO

Hello Kitty visited the zoo recently on a free day at the zoo and she had the most fun. In Japan whe you say "zou" (sounds like zoo) you are talking about an elephant but here the zoo is a animal man made habitiat.

There are plenty of great Hello Kitty products on the market but none so great as a homemade Hello Kitty. These are Sculpey Projects and of course Hello Kitty takes part dressed up in a Harley Davidson outfit. How come this person was not at Three Apples?

HELLO KITTY'S GOT THE TIME?

Hello Kitty's got the time and I got the money. Well sort of. Ok maybe not. I am definately not a big watch person but I found this time piece pretty unique as it looks like something from the natural history museum.  This is by Clockwork using genuine leather and is Limited Edition of 500 pieces worldwide. This was on Sanrio Japan's website but may not be there any longer. I waited too long! This is what happens why you don't buy kitty at the moment and think oh I can buy it later. Sorry you can't.  lol. This happens all the time with her merchandise.

I got an email the other day from Sanrio asking me if I remember them and if I wanted to continue to recieve emails from them and I thought do you really have to ask that? They even gave me a link to unsubscribe as if to persuade me to. I didn't even think twice and I even sent an email back stating how much I love them. I signed up at the local Sanrio and have hardly got any emails but now they have moved it to corporate so I should be getting them regularly like I'm supposed to.  Emails like that should actually be illegial. HELLO CHINESEGAL GOODBYE DVD

I am beginning to feel that this may be a cruel joke. Upon discovering a Myspace page promoting a so called dvd with Hello Kitty called "The Chinese Gal" I decided I had to have it and could not get anywhere trying to find it. All that comes up is this Myspace page and nothing else. I don't like being teased like that. And they even had to go as far as to say it's the Platinum Edition to really make me go nuts. I called Sanrio and they do not have a clue and to make matters worse it may be a actual joke or a fake. Mcdonalds even has a ad supporting the film with their collectibles.

And not to mention Kelloggs has participated in this too by putting their claim on a cereal.

HELLO KITTY SAYS DONUTS ARE NOT JUST FOR COPS!

Hello Kitty says donuts are not just for cops. They are also for the sugar addicted and Hello Kitty crazed people like myself. I am going to need a cop to stop me from my feeding frenzy here with 2 different versions to make Hello Kitty donuts. You can either Microwave them (yuck) or make them like you should. There is only one problem for me... the instructions are not in English!

Hello Kitty is almost everywhere in the USA unlike Taiwan (where I should be living) there is no almost, she IS everywhere. But every now and then I feel like I won the lottery and make a interesting discovery. Chapel Hill Comics in North Carolina apparently has a Hello Kitty "Midnite" mannequin. I wish our comic book stores had a little more pizazz like these guys.

HELLO KITTY @ CONSUMER ELECTRONICS CONVENTION IN LAS VEGAS

It's only fitting that Hello Kitty would get a convention in the USA but not the one that this obsessive fan would like. Although I may be a little spoiled now because of Three Apples. Hello Kitty took part in the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas with several pieces of her merchandise on display and some snide people making stupid remarks as if 12 year olds are the only ones who like kitty. Get with the program, literally.

Hello Jessica! Hello Kitty plays dress up as Jessica Rabbit in a canvas print from the movie "Who framed Roger Rabbit". These were part of the Three Apples event and are Limited Edition of 35 at Japan La. I picked this over the $450 item I mentioned in my last blog. I should be pround of myself but I won't always be able to restrain myself like that. 

HELLO KITTY A ROYAL PAIN

Hello Kitty can be a royal pain when it comes to my wallet but not to the Royal Mint as they have jumped on the Hello Kitty train and have come out with 35th Anniversary 65mm Silver Proof Coin. Limited Edition of 1500 only worldwide. This is a great item for coin collectors. I wish I was more into coins.

HELLO KITTY BUYING.. LA LA LA ...

One of my new years resolutions was to control my Hello Kitty spending but that is obviously not going to happen. Japan LA has released a pretzel necklace and ring that came from the fashion show during the month long Three Apples event in Los Angeles. The pretzel necklace is by Onch Movement which is a bit pricey but the items are truly unique. There is only 2 in the whole world. I had to fight myself not to buy it because it's $450 USD and I love pretzels. I was willing to overdraft my account in order to have it. Yeah, I don't think I have a problem.

So I decided to buy this supersize bow ring by Cicely Margo that is Limited Edition of 50 in the world and something else........(tune in tomorrow for that). I just had to have my wedding ring cut off but it was strangling my finger and now I go and buy another ring? Maybe the ring was trying to tell me something....like stop buying so much stinking Hello Kitty stuff.

OFF TOPIC- BEAUTIFULPEOPLE.COM IS A NO BRAINER!

If you haven't heard the news lately a dating website called beautifulpeople.com booted 5,000 people off of their site for gaining weight during the holidays. Is that all it takes? Good grief  guess your not aloud to eat in their world but what else is new. So with that thought I thought I would put my investigative skills to the test (I'm being a smart aleck) and sign up to mess with them. I mean really mess with them. I know that sounds real mature but I think I have earned a few points in my life for a immature moment and I have been saving up all of my maturity points for something like this.

Before I even understood how to use the sight their colors started to show real fast. They have a broadcast section to post bulletins and the majority of them were begging for ratings. Then there was one member that got nasty about people begging for ratings as if they are not doing the same as them. What I got a kick out of is that I started to see a few people that may have decided to do what I am doing and mess around as some bloke posted "metalheads rule"! Some of these "beautiful people" also post their pearls of wisdom and let me tell you their "pearls" do not require much thought. Like I am going to take their advice as if they are the Dali Lama.

Another thing I noticed is that the site is full of technical difficulties as if they just started using the web for the first time in their life. Emails don't work and messages do not post and very slow I might add if you manage to get a word in edge wise.  Get it togother beautiful people this is 2010 and you have not figured out how to run a site yet? I managed to get a few obscene words in which no one has noticed because reading is ovbiously not required among many other things that may come in handy.

So if you are dissapointed that you got booted or may not get in don't worry it is "what it is" and you really are better off. As  far as I'm concerned I am cancelling my account by myself because I do not need input from a no brainer.

HELLO KITTY MAC COSMETICS PERFUME

Apparently there is a Hello Kitty perfume from Mac Cosmetics that I did know about. It's not from the USA. It may be from China to be more precise and we know that not everything from there is authentic. Ask me if I care though and I don't.

HELLO KITTY GOING GREEN

I don't mean Hello Kitty is going green as she is about to puke. I mean the green that goes along with protecting the world. Hello Kitty has decided to "go green" along with the rest of us as she showcases her items as enviornmentally conscious versions of herself including plushes and bags. I am green with envy.

These are currently available at Sanrio USA and the plush can be found on a website I would rather not say because the customer service is extremely poor. lol

HELLO KITTY BOW HEADBAND BY CHUBBY BUNNY

I love this Hello Kitty bow headband. It's unusual and a collaboration which is one of my favorite parts of collecting. It only comes in red but there was a limited edition of 100 black bow headbands that was available at Three Apples for a very short time. This is currently on Sanrio's website.

HELLO KITTY SANRIO INVENTORY REVIEW

Sanrio conducted their inventory review a few days ago which sent me into a buying tizzy. But then I thought well you know what I think I will conduct an inventory review myself.

HELLO KITTY MACY'S THANKSGIVING PARADE SNOWGLOBE

I love a great story when it comes to Hello Kitty collectibles and this one definately has it. Apparently this Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Snowglobe was supposed to be released back in 2008 along with their 150th Anniversary Hello Kitty Plush but it never happened because the business that produced it sort of went under. But I went over when I purchased it. But it's well worth it. Hello Kitty and other parade characters are in the snowglobe. You can find these on Ebay.
