HELLO KITTY SHOULD BE A CRIME?

Ok I love Hello Kitty, or maybe.. slightly obsessed.  I know some people think that some of us are too old for Hello Kitty and do not see the country sized amount of Hello Kitty items created just for the older crowd. But associating Hello Kitty, a handbag, and the word crime is not what I had in mind for " Hello Kitty grows up". Not to mention she seems to be a little full of herself here. Handbags are part of crimes all the time with their counterfeit designer labels and thank goodness this is not but I still don't like the word on the bag. This is where that Hello Bitchy Police Car comes in.

Your purrfectly fine kitty but not as a crime. Although Sanrio has their own
                                                                     thoughts on that.

What's in it for this T-Shirt? Sorry kitty but celebrity attitude is not fashionable. You know I will probably end up buying these two items anyway. The things I put up with with Hello Kitty.  :D

You can find these two items @

KIMORA: LIFE IN THE FAB LANE AT THREE APPLES WITH ME

I consider myself one of the lucky ones who was able to go to Hello Kitty's Three Apples event in L.A. back in October but even more lucky going to the VIP Party the night before it officially opened to the public. This was my first and probably my only L.A. party since I don't live there and I felt the need to have a drink or two to calm my nerves. Unfortunately I also felt the need to not have my picture taken at all and to avoid the red carpet which I was allowed to go on. Let's just say I regretted it the next day. I spent months searching for pictures with the possibility of me being in them with no luck and after awhile I gave up. They say once you stop looking for something it appears and that is very true. I was watching an episode of Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane because they mentioned a Hello Kitty project the previous week for the next episode. They saved the best for the last minute showing Kimora at the Three Apples VIP Party and then it happened: I spotted myself in the background where she was posing with Hello Kitty and her kids. It's very quick but I tivoed it back and forth almost a hundred times making myself dizzy. I then showed it to the hubby who had been there with me confirming the red hair girl at the bar was me. Of course, where else would I be. I spent most of the time at the bar when I was there. Shameful isn't it?

The arrow is pointing right at me.
I still have not uploaded the rest of my pictures I do have that don't include me. Bitter? lol

HELLO KITTY BITCHY POLICE CAR

Cars like this should be required. It would save alot of people from road rage or forewarn people of a individual that may have it. Or maybe even cure someone of it. How can you not smile when you see a Hello  Kitty painted on a car? She is called Hello Bitchy and is a Chrysler 300c displayed at a 2009 car show in Germany. Not too mention she has a police siren on top. This is a great addition with Bridgestone that Hello Kitty collaborated with as I noted in my previous post even though it was just a plush doll.

HELLO KITTY BRIDGESTONE PLUSH

A month ago I found this cute Hello Kitty plush collaboration with Bridgestone who is known for their tires. Hello Kitty and tires? Not my first thought but oh well. I certainly did not need a test drive and raced to purchase it. Can you say cruise control? I can.

HELLO KITTY MEETS MARINA SIRTIS FROM STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION

Hello Kitty met Marina Sirtis aka Conselor Troi from Star Trek The Next Generation last weekend at Starfest. This one probably is one of my favorite meets just because of how it happened and the circumstances. We we going to try and meet her at the Meet & Greet Party the night before but it was crowded and we chose not to interrupt her going from table to table and kitty managed to get another actor to pose with her which we were not supposed to do so we decided to call it a night. The next day we were waiting in line for the Summer Glau photo session and we were supposed to get front line access because of the package we purchased and it didn't happen. They said that it wasn't for photo lines (not disclosed at purchasing eaither) and that we had to fend for ourselves. Needless to say we were upset and was about to leave realizing we still wanted to get Summer's photo so we cooled down a bit and continued on. Not much later Marina came walking down the hallway and came right at us asking us who we were waiting for. I couldn't believe our luck and of course my hubby said "we are waiting for you to take a picture with kitty". She laughed a little and said she was not really supposed to do this politely and did it anyway even letting me take another picture seeing she was talking.

Apparently the star fleet heard my wish when these two characters got married. :D I even remember the promo commercial before the show first aired.

HELLO KITTY SUPERHERO PLUSH

Seeing I just got back from Starfest it reminded me of Hello Kitty dressed as a superhero plush herself on the market almost a year ago. They were quite popular and came in two different versions. My greedy self got a great clearance deal on them then sold them all on Ebay and didn't bother to keep one for myself but I had the big one so I thought that didn't matter but I sure am sorry I did that now.

The one I sold! Boo hoo! She has dumbbells and I'm a dumbbell for selling her.

I still have this one though and I will never sell it.

HELLO KITTY VISITS STARFEST 2010

This past weekend Hello Kitty joined the fanfare in a exclusive city sci fi convention...Starfest 2010. She met many and her products were even spotted in the Anime section of the dealers room. Of course I already had these plushes so I controlled myself pretty well. But I jumped for joy as soon as I saw them and as that happened I lost my balloon to the ceiling from Keybank. Oh well they gave me two.

Some guy in the registration line was wearing a purple fuzzy Hello Kitty headband bow.

                                                                 Someone got married!

Hello Kitty met Predator or whoever this guy is!

And along came the Star Wars Storm Trooper to make sure kitty was well taken care of.

If you ever wondered what your favorite vampires do when they are on break.... lol

If I didn't know any better I think Nosferatu is trying to bite Hello Kitty but she doesn't have a neck so....

Some meet & greet!

Like they say......

HELLO KITTY EVA AIRLINES PILOT WINGS PIN

I remember when I was a kid and  flew TWA across the country getting a wings pin with their logo on it thinking I was the coolest. Well that pin has dissapeared but now has been replaced at the age of 33 with a Hello Kitty Eva Airlines Pilot Wings pin. Let me tell you this is not a tiny pin eaither. It's quite big in fact and covers my whole head. Not really but it's pretty big and people will notice it if you actually wear it which I refuse to do and will add it to my growing Hello Kitty collection. This was not for sale in their catalog or any place that I know of and may have been just for the actual pilot. Better for me then. Now on to the barf bag.

OFF TOPIC: HELLO LOWLIFE

I stumbled upon a blog referral site and let me tell you like any other place where you can leave comments your wasting your time. I recieved a non costructive criticism on my blog that goes like this...

Not my thing, not into the hello kitty thing cause I don't get the cat craze thing. I prefer writers' blogs. Only one way to describe blog design: ugly mess. Not a blog I would have ever care to visit, but since the blogger thought she is bitch fab enough to review my blog, I'm just returning the favor.

additional comments: On medication? No. I am just brutally honest, I don't like your blog at all. I never review blogs I can't relate to. But when mediocre bloggers like yourself decide to 'review' my blog, I will always respond accordingly. So, just make peace with it.

My Response: I said the site was well designed but instead this blogger decided to write a nasty post that has nothing to do with anything. Not to mention I am required on here to make reviews. Do they not understand that?

I am just about fed up with blogging and this may be my last post. "My blog is a ugly mess and I am not a writer".

HELLO KITTY MEETS SUMMER GLAU

This weekend Hello Kitty met Summer Glau from the Fox tv shows Dollhouse and Terminator. Unfortunately we could not use our camera and had to use an old fashioned photography background (Starfest really needs to get with the times and move up to a backdrop that are used on red carpets-would be more fun) to have the picture taken with her but it was well worth it and she was very sweet and a bit quiet. We had to wait a couple hours for the photo and then take a picture of it so this is as good as it gets.

(No celebrity endorsements implied)

HELLO KITTY CAMEO IN PLAYBOY'S THE HOUSE BUNNY

Why I finally gave in and watched the movie " The House Bunny" is beyond me. It was probably because I was extremely bored and could not think of anything else to do to keep me from watching it. So sad. Honestly the best part of this movie was the Hello Kitty cameo shot at the beginning. Things were starting to look up at that moment then quickly went back into the grado persona non grata and not because of fun I might add. Can you spot Hello Kitty?

I squeeled with joy when I spotted Hello Kitty. It really made my day!

Apparently the House Bunny is supposed to be like "Girl's Next Door" Bridget Marquardt with the Hello Kitty in the background.

Another unfortunate observation I have noticed is that their bunny logo and Hello Kitty both wear bows. Just in different places.

HELLO KITTY CHEETOS

I love cheetos especially if they have Hello Kitty on them in which they do. They even have a special web page devoted to the collaboration with kitty. They are only available in Spain but where there I don't know. I already searched Ebay Spain and came up with nothing using my investigative skills. It's pretty bad when I can't find something because I have become pretty good at finding things I really want.

HELLO KITTY VISITS SANRIO

Of all the places Hello Kitty has visited so far Sanrio is required and a must for her so she headed down to the Sanrio store to check up on her employees and how they are doing. They were putting new items out which was very exciting and she really loved the new Birthday Plush that just came out. She left with a few things of course.

Hello Kitty was welcomed by a fellow employee!

It didn't take 80 days around the world for kitty!

HELLO LESLIE HOLT... HELLO KITTY ARTIST

I'm speechless!

A picture says a thousand words so that would be 7000 words I did not have to say. I needed a break anyway.
