HELLO KITTY MEETS BONES TV SHOW CREATOR KATHY REICHS

Hello Kitty just met the Creator and Author Kathy Reichs for one of my favorite tv shows.. Bones. No bones about it I love this show! This was at a book signing for her new book Spider Bones. I have to admit I'm a first time reader of her books since I've been raised by the show but she signed my book after a nice discussion.

While I was searching for more Bones for my blog (not literally) I found a asian noodle restaurant called Bones in my town. You know Booth and Brennan at the beginning of the series ate at a chinese restaurant all the time. Think I will be heading there shortly. I can name a few other coincidences that leaves me chilled to the bone.

HELLO KITTY EXCLUSIVE HANDBAG FROM SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE

I used to read Seventeen... when I was 17. After that it went in the trash no thanks to mommy dearest but that's another story. Winger should change their song "Seventeen" to Thirty-Three because that's how old I am buying a Seventeen magazine  for their exclusive Hello Kitty bag. The bag didn't come with the magazine but it did come in it's own case. "I saw sparks fly, from the corner of my eye, And when I turned, it was love at first sight" so I bought it.

HELLO KITTY TOYS R US SHOPPING SPREE

I made another trip to Target for Hello Kitty shopping and always leave with the same result. Nothing. I became very agitated and annoyed (a sign of addiction) so decided to sneek off to Toys R Us later on in the day. My best decision yet I have to say. Not only did they have new items but two versions of a exclusive large Hello Kitty plush. I bought both and a few other things. I don't want to grow up I'm a Toys' R Us kid.

A picture of their Hello Kitty section unlike Target who can't seem to give Hello Kitty a target.

The kitty on the right is the only one that's on their online shop so it was a good idea for me to go to the store.

Only at Toys R Us!

BLOG REVIEW WITH HELLO KITTY FOR MODES4U

I’m a big fan of Kawaii online shop Modes4u. The place to go for Kawaii, Hello Kitty and crafting or even just collecting but I have to admit I’m not good at crafting. I wouldn’t know what to make or how to make it. I guess that’s why I blog and collect. I recently received some cute Hello Kitty fabric in four versions and knick knacks from them. The shipping is pretty quick and the items were well packaged. My first attempt at trying to use the fabric was on my cat as a blanket. Of course he doesn’t like to wear things and was not shy about letting me know so on to the next idea.

I decided to make a gift box since the holidays are around the corner. It was pretty easy with the cloth. I wrapped some around the gift box cutting and taping if it were wrapping paper and made a bow or what I call topper also using it. I also used the cute bow tape that came from Modes4u. I played around with the bow a little bit making various versions of a gift topping. Like I said before I’ve never crafted anything so this is coming from a rookie. Beware.

The final touch......

They also sent me a notepad which is my favorite just because of the cute but sophisticated design to it. We all know what it’s used for so I don’t need to tell you. I think I will use it for my wish list for Hello Kitty items. I just found another item I really like on their site. A Tenshineko bag. I’ve seen this kitty around but didn’t know where I could find her until now. Thanks Modes4u.

There is a few bad things though the customer service is not so great and the fabric I recieved was falling apart and deeply frayed but I'm just a rookie so I don't know if that's supposed to happen.

You can find Modes4u at http://www.modes4u.com/ and check out their blog at http://blog.modes4u.com/ too.

SANRIO HELLO KITTY BUILD A BEAR CARNIVAL GAME

I decided to try my hand at a Hello Kitty online game from Build A Bear since I bought from them recently and was loving the Sanrio Carnival Game even though there's not much to it except a few scenes. Of course this is mostly for kids but I did leave with a few keepsakes. I spent time with My Melody, Chococat, Keroppi and Hello Kitty of course. Oops...I forgot, it's only make believe. Well it didn't seem that way to me. Especially since Hello Kitty at the ferris wheel is the same exact Hello Kitty plush I have in my collection. She came to life.

Kitty and I getting ready to do the wave. Were talking about our favorite Yankees baseball player Tino Martinez. :D

Apparently she was propositioning my cat after I got off the ferris wheel. I thought I was special.

Me and Hello Kitty together on the ferris wheel. That's mostly me minus a few pounds years ago. lol. She came straight from my collection.

Me hanging out trying to figure out the place. Took a ride with My Melody shortly after.

A HOT TOPIC: HELLO KITTY ZOMBIE REST IN PEACH BODY SPRAY

"They're coming to get you Sheena. Stop it your ignorant! They're coming for you Sheena. Stop it your acting like a child! They're coming for you. Look there comes one of them now.

     "She'll hear you."

Halloween has just started for me at Hot Topic with this Hello Kitty Zombie body spray. I was going to post something else but after a few hours I found another "have to have this" Hello Kitty item. Not all items are created equal. I usually like to wait for that love at first site feeling before buying just to make sure I'm not impulse buying and I really want it. Of course my computer also helped out in that department and I wanted it even more thinking I couldn't get to it. Halloween is my favorite time of the year and I definately was not a zombie at 1am in the morning purchasing it.  This was dead on.

HELLO KITTY CAMEO ON MTV CRIBS

I Just finished watching MTV Cribs hosted by Hello Kitty entrepreneur Kimora Lee Simmons and knew Hello Kitty was going to make a cameo. It wasn't as much as I would of liked but a little is good enough. Not only did Kimora sport one of her kitty necklaces she had a segment about her crib in New York near the World Trade Center at the time and Hello Kitty was in one of the rooms. The sad part of this segment was that her home was destroyed by 9/11 and Hello Kitty went down with it.

HELLO KITTY AT JOHNNY ROCKETS

After my Hello Kitty shopping at Build A Bear a few days ago we stopped at the diner in the mall called Johnny Rockets. Guess who made a appearance on a coloring page? Johnny was giving out Hello Kitty coloring pages to the kids. I noticed this after I made a trip to wash my hands and another customer was holding it up. I think the universe may be sending Hello Kitty my way. Of course I had to have one and I got one.

SANRIO STORE 50TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY

Last week I went to Sanrio thinking the party was that day and I had the wrong day. When I came home I had a email invite for August 21, 2010 and I even called to make sure. I bought a few more things again and even got a few special items that were not for sale. I was so distracted and excited I was standing at the front counter getting the gift card which was a special deal that I forgot I was supposed to hand her the cash. I lose my mind everytime I go in there.

I may be able to get my hands on some of the cardboard displays when they are finished with them which would be great for my kitty room.

I love the bag and balloons. I got one of each.

When I came home Mr. Henry was not happy with the amount of Hello Kitty I brought home so he made sure to let us know he wanted more. I know the feeling little guy.

Now I am going to have my own Sanrio store party. What shall I buy? Oh that's right I already bought these.

STRAPYA WORLD HELLO KITTY 70S ROCK N ROLL PLUSH

Strapya World should really be called Hello Kitty World as I have in the privacy of my own home. I love this company and order from them often. They just released a Rock n Roll Hello Kitty plush in two different sizes including cell phone size and it reminds me of a cross between KISS and Lady Gaga. I'm ordering the bigger one. As they say bigger is better.
