HELLO KITTY VISITS NBC MARRIAGE REF AUDITION

Hello Kitty accompanied us to NBC's The Marriage Ref audition in town for a possible Hello Kitty collection episode. I found a post from last year where a rep was looking for married people with Hello Kitty collections. Thinking it was so long ago and nothing would probably come of it I emailed anyway. Talk about timing I found out it was legit and they were going to be in town the following week. We went today and boy was it exhausting. We had to speak in full sentences but it was difficult because when you have something to say it just comes out. The hubby did call me a Hello Kitty Hoarder and I'm most certainly not. Some things are just called collecting. Geese.

It must of been fate because right next door to the audition center on each side was a store that carried Hello Kitty stuff. One was a game and puzzle store and the other was Hot Topic so of course while we were waiting for our Hello Kitty interview I went Hello Kitty shopping. I'm pretty puzzled about this encounter.

HELLO KITTY X SEPHORA SNEEK PREVIEW

According to a editor at Teen Vogue (I'm too old to read it but did get information off another blog) a new Hello Kitty line by Sephora will be out in January 2011 that includes nailpolishes, a hand mirror, and more. Here is a few pics from the "Teen" tweeter.

Speaking of Vogue Hello Kitty is currently in the December Vogue Nippon Japan issue and I found a cute picture of Hello Kitty for Halloween I've never seen before.

HELLO KITTY HARRODS CLASSIC KITTY IN BAG

I am so disspointed that I chose to wait until payday instead of buying this Hello Kitty in bag set from Harrods and overdrafting my account and just getting it. Apparently it sold out and it's "temporarily unavailable". Like how temporary? I need to know when and WHEN! This is exactly why I have to buy things immediately when I see it. I really hate this!!!!

Ok now I'm weirded out. I went to the Harrods site originally to find this and it wasn't there then I searched online to see if anyone wrote about it or took a picture but there was nothing. I went back to Harrods site and this pic showed up saying "due to high demand":... but as soon as I finshed this blog post and posted it it dissapeared and has not appeared on their site again. Maybe a ghost was helping me out. Gives new meaning to Ghost Writer. Call them Ghost Blogger. Very strange.

HELLO KITTY TAIWAN AIRPORT PLUSH 2010 AND TEA

I love Taiwan Airport Hello Kitty items. I just got this new version of the Hello Kitty Airport plush for this year and it's very cute. My original version is not too bad eaither. The box window is supposed to be shaped like Taiwan and kitty also has a Taiwan like shape on her foot. The tea is only available at the airport and I have no interest in drinking it at the moment but I may change my mind.

HELLO KITTY PLUSH FEDORA HAT CRAFT

Since there is a Hello Kitty plush dress out there I thought I could try my hand at making a Hello Kitty plush fedora hat but let me just say crafting and design is not in the cards for me but at least I gave it my best shot. I would say that I pretty much made a fool of myself on here already so this won't hurt too much.

There was alot of open space on the hat and I ran out of plushes to fill it and not too mention there's no shape to the plush hat.

CSN STORE PREVIEW

I love online stores such as CSN that jump on the Hello Kitty bandwagon and provide us with a great assortment of items such as nightstands AND Hello Kitty. I'm going to need a bunch of them to keep up with displaying kitty. I'm looking forward to reviewing a special item to say hello and this is just a preview of what's to come......

HELLO KITTY WALGREENS CHRISTMAS HAUL

When I say this is a haul it really was. I could barely carry the merchandise out of the store and the husband wasn't too thrilled with all my Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Angel Cat Sugar shopping. I spent $120 at Walgreens within 10 minutes but they really do have the best stuff during the holiday season.

 This is my favorite item from my haul. It was really cheap but I've never seen anything like it anywhere else.

DJ HELLO KITTY IN THE MIX CD WEBSITE

Not only does Hello Kitty have her own DJ cd she now has a official website for it and it's very cute. I love kitty and the more websites like this out there for her the more I can spend my day online entertaining myself.

There's even merchandise to go with the cd! I want I want!

HELLO KITTY NAMAHAGE ROCKFES ROCK FESTIVAL T SHIRT

I always like to get  Hello Kitty event items if I go to the event only but since I can't make it to Japan I had to improvise to pick up this Namahage Rockfes festival t shirt. I didn't know what it was until I heard the word festival and I had to have it. Exclusives are my speciality!

HELLO KITTY'S GOING TO SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS WORLD SERIES

The only reason I'm glad San Francisco won the ticket to the World Series is because it's Hello Kitty's hometown in the USA. So to celebrate I decided to buy a Hello Kitty item. Like I really need an excuse for that but it's a good excuse to buy this Hello Kitty Tokyo Giants baseball plush. We just saw San Francisco play in our town so this is a great tribute to our win. I know it's Tokyo Giants and not San Francisco but I haven't seen any Hello Kitty San Francisco Giants collaborations yet so this is the next best thing. Congrats kitty. I'm so proud of you!

I've seen a few different versions of these with one holding a bat besides a ball.

They even sent a shoutout tribute to kitty and the Sanrio family. Awww!!!

HELLO KITTY DEMETER FRAGRANCE CHRISTMAS PERFUME

A new batch of Hello Kitty perfume has arrived at Demeter with Chococat, Sanrio, and Badtz Maru and I don't know how much longer I am able to hold out until payday in a week and not just overdraft my account and purchase the heck out of these things. I'm trying so hard to get a grip on my obsession but I am losing control very fast.  

I do call this Christmas perfume just because the season has kicked off for Christms shopping and Merry Christmas to me. I might have these gift wrapped for myself. How pathetic. lol

HELLO KITTY WALKING STICK

I am no where near the age or condition where I need to be using this but I'm buying this anyway. Hello Kitty is a walking stick in different colors from Japan. Now if she turned into a plush that would be even better.  Can't wait to try it out.

HELLO KITTY KTV KARAOKE LOUNGE CARDS

I bought these cards with Hello Kitty and KTV on them thinking they were from a tv station in Taiwan but they're actually from a karaoke lounge called KTV. Hello Kitty even had her own KTV web address that is no longer working.  These are from 2001 so of course I wouldn't be able to find anything on them. Everything is kitty land is limited and for a short time.

HELLO KITTY 35TH ANNIVERSARY MOVIE FOLDERS

I'm not into collecting folders but I bought these Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary folders because Hello Kitty is mocking various movies and shows such as E.T. (my favorite), Cats the musical, Titanic and so on. Adorable! I might want to get rid of the rest though which is pretty unusal for me.

HELLO KITTY 7 ELEVEN PLUSH BOXED SET

My heart is broken right now because I was too late to get this cute little Hello Kitty and friends plush set from the 7 Eleven in Taiwan.  Each store only had two which boggles my mind because that is like stocking my kitchen with only two items. Who do they think they are, Target?  

SELENE LUNA AT HELLO KITTY THREE APPLES VIP PARTY

I've been reminiscing about the "Three Apples" event that was last year due mostly to the fact that there is a new one "Small Gift" going on this year and I have been trying to figure out who this was ever since I saw her at the Hello Kitty Three Apples Vip Party because when someone has a entourage they are usually somebody. It took me almost a year to find out her name is Selene Luna and that she was in My Bloody Valentine 3D which is one of my favorite movies and currently in my dvd collection. Of all the celebrities that were there this is the only picture I have.

HELLO KITTY BRAND LICENSING EUROPE 2009 TICKETS

Not only do I have the Sanrio issue of Global License Magazine and a tote from a convention I can never go to I now have a set of Hello Kitty and Sanrio promo tickets from the Brand Licensing Europe 2009 convention in London. This is the pick of the litter. There is about 14 different tickets in a booklet with several different Sanrio characters and the Brand Licensing logo on them which makes them super collectible! Hello Kitty is sold out and I bought them all!
