I just spotted Hello Kitty in the 1990 movie Problem Child. What a great birthday surprise! Hello Kitty right out of the 80's!!! According to online records this movie was filmed in 1989 so technically this IS a 80's Hello Kitty! Awesome! I've seen this movie a dozen times and it didn't even occur to me that she was in it. She's in my favorite part of the movie where Junior throws the little girls birthday presents in the pool and puts a sprinkler in her room to ruin it because she was such a snot to him.
I even have Hello Kitty as a problem child. She spends all our money.
