PICTURE OF THE DAY: HELLO KITTY IS SHEENA QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE

I had to attempt Hello Kitty into a picture of Sheena Queen of the Jungle and it's obvious why but I used the Sheena movie from 1984 as my inspiration.

HELLO KITTY CHARLIZE THERON YOUNG ADULT MOVIE T SHIRT

I know this isn't the Hello Ktty shirt Charlize Theron was wearing in the movie Young Adult but it's the same one in which I now call a replica even though this shirt came out before the movie at H&M.  I got a great deal on it but it was very hard to find. I thought this was the perfect shirt to get besides  for the movie connection but also because of Charlize Theron's statement on thirty-something woman like myself walking around in Hello Kitty shirts and that we need to grow up. I did grow up. I only reached 5'6.

HELLO KITTY AT CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL 2012

Hello Kitty is becoming few and far between downtown and even during the towns Cherry Blossom Festival but what I did manage to find makes me very happy. No sour grapes here.

HELLO KITTY KISS PLUSHES TOUR

My Hello Kitty KISS plush dolls finally arrived and I decided to play with my new stuffed animals. I didn't sit on the floor moving them around like kids do but as a grown up would do I decided to throw them a concert with  a press junket, posters and everything! I definately want to rock and roll all night and party everyday with these guys!

Joseph Senior needs your help! If you don't know him by now then you haven't looked up Hello Kitty online at all. I find it very hard to believe that someone in the world has not looked for Hello Kitty. His notoriety comes from his artwork and outstanding Hello Kitty collaborations. HELLO KITTY SUMMER PORCH GREETER AT KMART

Kmart has redeemed themselves for the time being but I still wouldn't order from them online. I decided to call the local Kmart to see if they had this summer Hello Kitty porch greeter and just my luck they had one left so of course I asked if they could hold her for me and I would be there in fifteen minutes and there she is playing in my backyard.

HELLO KITTY X DUBAI

Hello Kitty is quite the catch in Dubai with her new spa and new friends. I just finished watching a episode of Tokyo Kawaii TV on TV Japan and one girl collects Hello Kitty but says she doesn't carry too much around for fear of being deemed childish. Sounds like american society is seeping in and their controlling ways. She probably hasn't met any older Hello Kitty fans like me because I'm 35 and love Hello Kitty and don't give a meow what anyone thinks even if they are Hello Kitty fan or not. Took me long enough to get to that point.

 OMG I want one of these towels!

I want that lotion or whatever it is too!

  They have a cafe! I can't take it anymore.

Are you kidding me? A limo? I need a passport and a plane now!

I had the privilage and honor to be able to attend Hello Kitty's Vans' Meet & Greet event last week that took several hours to get to.

HELLO KITTY MEETS COLIN FERGUSON

I think I might have been in The Twilight Zone instead of in the presense of a resident of Eureka from the SyFy channel. I had a dream about Colin Ferguson for no reason and before he was even announced as a celebrity guest at the Denver Comic Con. Not too mention I haven't watched Eureka for a long time so what gives? Might that have been a premonition? The way things are going in my Hello Kitty world  I wouldn't be surprised if it was which makes this more science than fiction.

 

He looks like a nice guy but we wouldn't really know since he wasn't doing photo ops and we weren't sure if taking photos from afar was ok so we had to sneek this picture in. lol

HELLO KITTY VS DENVER COMIC CON 2012

I'm so happy that my state now has their own Comic Con and a well put together one for being the first one ever for Denver. I'm never getting into the San Diego Comic Con so this will keep me happy and Hello Kitty was there as to be expected. Super!!!

Hello Kitty meeting 80's icon Richard Marx was a unexpected and pleasant surprise because she was right here waiting when he arrived. Another endless summer night for Hello Kitty!
